So funny: a colourful board book titled HTML for Babies (Web Design for Babies, Volume 1) introduces web design concepts to babies. The book is authored by New York web designer John C. Vanden-Heuvel Sr.

What an awesome little tool. Very useful for quickly drawing a little diagram so you can put it in an email or something. For email, be sure to make that section “fixed width font” or “preformatted” to have it be displayed correctly on the other end.

I’m generally more a walker than a runner, but at times I run and sometimes you do it just right and you feel the difference. I’ve also done walks (in town) barefoot which is nicer but that can be annoying with some of the crap that lies around.
I’ll read up on this again later when I have time – it’s good to rediscover the right way of doing things.

Of course the Torah and the Koran note it – it made sense when living in the desert in the middle east, with little water and lack of hygiene. So now it’s a religious tradition. I get all that.
But there is no need for it in our society, and it has nothing to do with religion as such – merely the location and time and situation of those people at that time – bit of perspective really helps there.
I wonder where/how the WHO came up with the “might help prevent AIDS” as that seems like a load of very dangerous bollocks.
And non-essential medical procedures on kids… I don’t care whether it’s under anaestetic – it’s wrong. If an adult wants to mutilate themselves, they can have that freedom. But don’t mess with kids, either physically or mentally. For me they have a right to personal integrity.
